By providing a full postcode (such as W1A 1AA), national grid reference (for example SE123456) or latitude, longitude pair (like 54, -0.5) this page will provide a map, terrain plot and detailed information of the location showing the UK and RoI television transmitters that it is possible you receive Freeview, Freeview HD, Youview, BT TV and Saorview from.

(Don't know your postcode? Find it at Post Office Postcode finder).

UK Free TV uniquely shows you transmitter coverage maps, aerial to transmitter terrain plots, the closest 10 mobile phone masts (for possible 5G-at-800 interference) as well as tabulated information (sorted by direction, by received signal strength, by frequency, by service names or by transmitter name).

Is it possible to email me the operating instructions for my Luxor model LUX-PVR500-690 dtr? I did contact asda where it was bought in 2011 and they suggested you might be able to help, because they don't keep the records that go back that far. It hasn't been used for a while but it still works and I wantto give to my grandaughter for her sons bedroom. Any information you can send would be most appreciated. The man at asda said he thought either the Thomson or the Wharfedale DTR were very similar and one of those manuals might be able to give me some information. Look forward to your comments, kindest regards peter naylor

Shane Baker:

You are right on the edge of the predicted reception area for the Mendip Transmitter. Further, you have some hills nearby between you and the transmitter that may be disrupting the signal path. The prediction suggests you should be getting reliable reception at your general location, so please check all the connections and cables in your aerial system. Include in that check the unplugging and refitting of all coaxial plugs and sockets.

You should also check the signal strengths of all the multiplexes. They are on channels: 49, 54, 58, 48, 33, 52, 36 and 35. A wideband aerial is needed for good reception of all the channels.

Peter Naylor:

You will need to search the web for the User Manual for that equipment. This website does not hold any such information.

I am in SW15 and my aerial and dish are on the roof. I have a strange situation with missing channels. On Freeview I can't find BBC4 HD and on Freesat I can't find Channel 4 HD. All other channels appear to be present and correct on both Freeview and Freesat. I have tried re-tuning both with no luck. Any thoughts or ideas?

David Fordham: C4 HD isnt on Freesat any more, as you will see from looking through the news section. As for BBC4 HD, can we assume you have other HD channels?

David Fordham: Channel 4 HD was removed from Freesat several months ago. It is still broadcast FTA and can be tuned manually in non-Freesat mode. BBC Four HD is on the COM8 multiplex along with the QVC HD shopping channels and Quest HD, are these also missing? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see your predicted coverage.

Please can someone confirm that Channel 56 from Tacolneston is down and advise when it may be restored. Or have I got a problem? Channel 55 is fine.

Thanks
