Steve Hancock: Freesat accounts have been around for years and enable you to set recordings and control the box from the Freesat app on a smartphone/tablet. I've no idea why Briantist has said that BBC One HD isn't available, as BBC One HD has been available on all Freesat HD boxes since it launched, perhaps he has gotten mixed up with another channel or meant to talk about there being no regional versions of BBC One HD for viewers in England.

Ronnie: Forces TV is on the COM7 multiplex which is not broadcast from any transmitter covering Inverness.

Josephine: The channel closed, along with a few others, at the end of last month. It cannot be tuned in manually as it is no longer broadcasting.

Doris LEONIE & Ann: MyTV was closed by the channel's owners, Sky had no part in the decision, even the channel's website no longer exists (this isn't it). You may find that some of the programmes appear on other channels.

Lib: Sony Movies Classic is carried on the local TV multiplex, which is not broadcast from Ridge Hill as there are no local TV stations covering any of the areas served by Ridge Hill.

Glen Wood: COM7 on UHF channel 55 is still broadcasting from Belmont, no closure date has yet been announced and the 700MHz spectrum auction hasn't taken place yet (the auction has already been delayed from last year and may potentially be delayed again due to the current lockdown). Do you get any signal strength and quality readings for C55? The Freeview checker predicts poor reception for COM7 from Belmont at your location, which is showing overlapping coverage from several other transmitters, so reception of COM7 may well be limited by interference at your location.

David: The page you have linked to is an another unofficial website (like this one) which has no connection with any broadcaster or transmitter company. The message you quoted about reduced power appears to be referring to their own website/operations and is nothing to do with any transmitter. COM7 is still broadcasting from Mendip on UHF channel 55 and no date has been set for it to close, nor has any announcement been made regarding what will happen with any of the channels (i.e. BBC Four HD, Quest HD, etc).
If you put your postcode into the official Freeview coverage checker at the link below, it will show you a frequency table for each transmitter that is predicted to be receivable at your postcode.

Valerie bradley : W is not a Freeview channel, it is delivered over your broadband connection as part of your BT TV subscription, so you need to contact BT technical support. Drama is a Freeview channels which is received via your aerial and would therefore be available regardless of whether you had a BT subscription or not.

Barbara Plant: The BBC are reporting that the transmitter has been off air due to a fault since 11:24 this morning, they don't give any information as to the cause or any ETA for it to be fixed.

Sean : The only Now music channel available to you on Freeview is Now Xmas (temporarily renamed from Now 80s) which is on the COM7 multiplex, which is broadcast at Crystal Palace using DVB-T2 (so your TV needs to be able to receive HD channels) but at lower power than the main PSB and commercial multiplexes, as well as being on a higher frequency, with both factors making reception on an indoor aerial more difficult.
