I have now lost all signal can you tell me what the problem might be?
The problem could be one of:
- the aerial has been moved or damaged;
- the cables or connectors that connect the digibox to the aerial are damaged;
- the digibox has broken.
If you have a "spare" digibox you use this to test the aerial connection. Can you still watch analogue TV OK?

Homes that lose their TV signal thanks to 4G network to receive up to £10,000 to be reconnected
Mobile phone operators fund £180 million scheme to help viewers affected by interference.
.
.
Homes that lose their television signal thanks to interference from the 4G mobile network will receive up to £10,000 each to be reconnected.
It is thought that around 950,000 homes will suffer interference ranging from image distortion to the total loss of some channels as superfast broadband is rolled out.
Interference from the 4G signal is likely to be so severe for families living close to the base stations that filters distributed to homes will not be able to block the signal.
MP John Whittingdale, chairman of the culture, media and sport select committee, has called for a delay to the national launch so that trials can be completed.
He told the Daily Mail: "One of my concerns is that the Government is making the filters available only for households primarily using digital terrestrial TV, and yet there will be a large number of additional households that have second sets and they will not receive filters.
"I have been informed that 38,500 households will still be affected after filter installation and that, of those, perhaps 18,000 will be primary digital terrestrial television households."
A £180 million 'help scheme', funded by mobile phone operators, has been promised by ministers.
Freeview users will be worst affected by the interference, since failing to switch to satellite or cable providers will leave them without access to normal television services.
Communications Minister Ed Vaizey said that some 500 of the worst affected households unable to switch will receive up to £10,000 each to find an alternative solution.
The government has promised filters to homes in the affected areas that will block the 4G signal or £50 towards a professional refit, which will be paid for from the £180 million pool provided by mobile companies.
The areas likely to be worst hit identified by OfCom include those served by the Crystal Palace transmitter in London and the Winter Hill transmitter in Lancashire.

I recently replaced my main television with a new one. There was a plugged in 'box' with aerials going in and out of it behind the tv which didn't appear to be working (the light wasn't on even though it was plugged in) so I didn't bother connecting the new tv through it. I watch Sky TV through the main tv so it didn't matter that it wasn't connected to the aerial. The problem however is that since that day, none of my upstairs freeview tvs will work. When I scan for a signal they can't detect a thing!
So my question is - was the box behind the main tv somehow providing the signal to the upstairs tvs? And if so, how do I rectify the problem? Please help!!

Hayley: It sounds like you might need to reconnect the "box". What does it say on it? Does it have a make and model number?

Hayley: The box behind the TV with a light on it is almost certainly a booster / splitter for the purpose of feeding the Freeview signals to TV's in other rooms, and with possibly a jumper being used from one of its outlets into the main TV, albeit that you still might use Sky most of the time.
You will have to power it back up again and make sure that the main aerial lead is going into the boxes socket marked "aerial".
Maybe you could also provide the info as requested by Dave Lindsay just in case there is anything "odd" about the device.

Freeview was working ok until yesterday (18/12) now i get a 'no signal' message and told to check antenna connection, which is fine, nothing has changed. It's a tv with Freeview built into it. Why would this happen?

18 element aerial on roof. I have lost 10 F/V channels including film4 and ITV4. Yesterday I lost BBC 1 2 3&4 in the evening,but they return in the daytime. Another newer small tv works fine when connected to the same aerial. I am using a 2006 Sharp TV and a 2006 Sony PVR. What can I do?

lin: As this type of question is one involving reception then its not really possible for anyone to advise without having knowledge of your location, this in the form of a post code or one from nearby, as this will then enable access to the reception predictor which also gives details of the transmitters used to cover your area.
It would also be of assistance to know the model number of the TV being used.
