It looks like this Transmitter has been up and down a lot lately, the vodafone service in Cwmavon/varteg/blaenavon was also down for a lot of last week.

Is it possible to find out what was wrong, perhaps it was a mains power problem ??

I visited site a few weeks ago, pics at

hYWEL: The usual reason for a "all services" failure is a mains problem, usually the failure of direct mains and whatever backup systems exist on site.

My aerial is currently on the roof and is receiving signals from the Blaenavon transmitter. When I was living in Blaenavon town itself I was picking up the full range of freeview channels.I believe this is because I was receiving a signal from the Wenvoe transmitter. Now I am living in the Forgeside area I find that the number of channels is severely curtailed. Are there any plans to add additional freeview channels on the Blaenavon transmitter because I cannot pick up the Wenvoe transmitter from where I am located
