Has there been a change on HD frequencies this week? TV and Freeview boxes need re-scanning for the HD Channels.

Christopher Lewis: There have been no frequency changes for any services. You should not attempt to retune if you have lost channels as you most likely have a fault of some kind and will simply be deleting the channels which are already tuned if you rescan.

David Thomas: Briton Ferry is a Freeview Lite transmitter which only broadcasts the PSB channels (BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5) and some of their offshoots. The coverage prediction for your postcode shows the commercial multiplexes from Kilvey Hill to be weak at your location, so your best option is likely to be Freesat if you want more channels without paying a subscription.

I have U View on my tv but cannot access the programs; it just states 'information unavailable'. The menu and programs are listed but I cannot access them. I am told I have 'Freeview' already installed on my tv, but again cannot access this service. I wonder if you can help me with this request? Thank you, Jeff Jones.

Jeff: The Briton Ferry transmitter changes frequencies overnight so you will need to retune. Also, check for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your postcode. If you channels are not restored, please provide a full postcode so that we can see where you are in relation to the transmitter and your predicted signal strength.
