UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

DAB
Your website shows Classic FM as being transmitted from Tacolneston.
My radio no longer lists this station. In fact the only stations it lists are BBC ones. Running postcode checks on the main DAB promoter site confirms that DAB in Norfolk is BBC only.
Who is right?

Mardler : D1 hasn't been removed from Tacolneston or any other transmitter and is still showing on the ukdigitalradio site at the link below. There are also several other transmitter broadcasting D1 which cover various parts of Norfolk. Please provide your postcode so we can see where you are in relation to Tacolneston as well as which other transmitters may provide coverage at your location, the further advice can be offered.

DAB.
I arrived back from holiday (09/03/17) to find CLASSiC unavailable. Retuned and CLASSIC name appeared together with NO SIGNAL, other stations all ok. Has CLASSIC been removed from band III? My equipment is Panasonic SC-PM500 Dab and only scans band III, I have a dipole in the loft and live approx 0.25 miles from the Clacton transmitter. (a portable radio with a telescopic works reasonably well on the window sill. Any advice will be welcome . Thank you.

Dave: Classic FM hasn't been removed from DAB. Are you able to receive stations such as Radio X and LBC which are also broadcast of the D1 national multiplex?

Despite the fact I live quite high up in Plymouth, why is the Classic FM signal so poor, as it seems to sit between two multiplex transmitters. I have to listen to the channel on FM as DAB just continues to be a poor signal.
I have a DAB aerial in the loft
It seems that all other radio stations on Dab are fine?

Gill Crawford: the same has happened to me. I get the message data service' when trying to get Classic F M and LBC. This has only happened very recently after we retune the TV. I have manually re-tune the TV, wiped the memory from the TV by auto tuning with no aerial connection, and spoken to Freeview help who do not understand this. I have also contacted the TV manufacturer, LG, you state that neither classic FM radio no LBC are available in our area any more. We live in Bath. Has anyone else had this problem? Is this what is known in the IT world as an upgrade'?

Francis Matthey: Classic FM and LBC have changed multiplex (not an upgrade, just a move to different capacity), but the one they are on now should have the same coverage as before. A few people seem to be reporting the same problem recently.
