Steve Meddings: Please see Single frequency interference | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice for help.

I am in BN3 at the moment and there is no problem with Multiplex 1 reception.

Does anyone know how to stop the pop up that keeps occurring when my mums TV is first switched on. I know it says to press the yellow button, but she is 95 and has dementia. She now finds it impossible to be able to watch the TV.

wow once the switch over is done.. you'll no longer get any BBC channels, unless you have a HD box and get BBC HD..

No BBC no license fee to be paid.. Unless your list is right.. seems after 21st March you lose half the channels you was getting.. at 7th march.

Can you confirm this is correct, or is the 21st in addition to the 7th ;)

Hi, I am having problems getting the full list of freeview channels. Currently, my channel list starts at BBC four (channel 9)- I am missing 1-8 as well as ITV 2, BBC 24 etc. Apparently I am missing 'multiplex 1, 2, a, c, d'? I have tried re-scanning many times and I get the same list of channels. How do I get all the digital channels?

Liz: It's a possibility that they're not quite strong enough to produce a picture on your receiver.

The one multiplex that you have, Mux B on C48, is the one that has the highest transmission power.

Are you using a rooftop aerial?

I'm not familiar with the local area, but the buildings on your road are four and a bit storeys (the "bit" on account of the fact that ground level is a bit below ground). I would have thought that with the aerial on the roof, there shouldn't be any problem getting a signal.
