Installing an aerial for digital reception in SN4 0HY.
Using a SLX48DW wideband high gain aerial mounted externally on a chimney stack roughly 10.2 metres above ground height.
Horiz polarity channels from only certain MUXes received
Vert polarity channels from alternate MUXes received
Unsure which transmitter the signal is picked up from, aerial pointed in general direction according to surrounding properties, which all happen to be vert. polarity.
Advice greatly appreciated on how to obtain the best reception, i.e. all channels.

rob: Ogbourne St George digital TV transmitter | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice is your only transmitter option, where you will get three multiplexes from, but this will deteriorate in 2012.
I would suggest you go for Freesat.

Update on SN4 OHY aerial install.
Receiving channels on freqs 32,33,34 and 37 - 61 channels in total but did have 105 on one attempt though only a few channels have excellent reception.
This does not seem to be as suggested by referencing to Ogbourne St George Transmission data.
Is it possible I am receiving from Rowridge? as the freqs received would imply.
thanks for help!

Chiseldon Transmitter. re. Engineering works today.
House location SN4 0PW. Chiseldon-only vertical aerial.
I first turned on the TV (Freeview) to watch BBC 1, News at 10. It was unwatchable most of the time, hanging for periods of over a minute.
I tried retuning, which lost BBC 1 and 2 altogether.
I then went to your procedure requiring retuning without the aerial, ssving it and then doing it again. I don't what 'they' did to degrade the digital signal, but the procedure seems to have fixed it! Thanks
