peter duthie: we need signal levels and location, but look at your cables - if your losing a mux or two, then its likely there is a loose connection etc.

Rik Knight: Going by the transmitter engineering posts above and below yours, there does appear to be a fault with the transmitter. It will be back on as soon as it has been fixed, probably within a few hours although bad weather could delay things. Do not attempt to retune your TV when it has no signal as this will delete all of your channels.

Are there plans to give us the same choice of programs as most other people seem to receive

Roger joesbury:

If you are on a Freeview Light transmitter, then the answer is no. The commercial broadcasters consider transmitters covering smaller populations to not be economically viable for their services as they would not get sufficient return on investment.

Roger joesbury: Actually, according to Digital UK Ivybridge is due to have the COM4/5/6 multiplexes added some time in Spring 2019 although this is primarily to replace coverage that will be lost from Caradon Hill in some areas due to interference when frequency changes take place. I couldn't see any info on whether COM4/5/6 will use the same broadcast radiation pattern as PSB1/2/3 of if it will be directional towards one or more areas.

Ritsaert: The post you replied to from 2 days ago is warning of loss of signal on some channels, so it is likely that whatever engineering work or weather conditions have triggered the warning are currently taking place. Do not attempt to retune.
