Tony Scull: The 'no problems' message comes from scraping the BBC's reception website, and this is only done periodically. By clicking through the 'BBC Reception Test' link, I can see there actually was a problem reported from 13:08 to 13:13 today.

To report a problem, go to BBC - Reception problems , select 'No' under 'Does this answer your question' and click Continue. If you keep following through the wizard, eventually you get to a form where you can enter a problem report.

If you still have problems that don't match up with the BBC website, it's possible that you have too much signal. See Freeview signals: too much of a good thing is bad for you | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

What is wrong with the BBC digital signal from the Wharfedale Transmitter? This is the third consecutive day that the service has been unwatchable in the afternoon.

Surely it cannot be to do with the abnormally warm weather!!

We keep losing all the BBC channels - just comes up 'no signal'. All other channels OK.
We are on the Wharfedale transmitter.

We have the same problem here in Otley - all BBC channels intermittently freezing or disappearing.

Paul: There seems to have been "Reduced Quality" events going on that would effect reception. It would seem these have now ended.

My postcode is LS29 9LU. I've got great reception on ITV, Channel 4 and 5 (maybe too much as the signal strength seems to be close to 100% at times) but very poor reception for BBC1 and 2. The problem has been ongoing for about four weeks now and weather conditions make no difference). Is there anything I can do to rectify this. I don't want to have to get Sky

Thanks
