joan josephs: Provided that rain water has not managed to gain access into the termination box on your aerial or coax connected into same, then heavy rain does not really have that much of an effect on Freeview reception, the one exception to this being unless your aerial is facing into tree foliage?

Have you checked with any of your neighbours to ascertain if they are also suffering from zero reception?

I have been using free view for about a year now. most of the time they are good but specially during evening from 7 till 10 pm most of the channels got "no signal" and screen goes blank. sometimes re-appear again and sometimes not at all. I have checked from receiver, cables and tv connections, they all seem proper and with no problem but could not figure out what the real problem is. Had there any problem, there should be no connection after, "no signal" but can watch again after an hour or next day.

basically, all channels are good during morning and afternoon. it occurs frequently in evening. can anyone help sort this out ?
