Hello,

I live in the Highroyds Area of Menston and looking at the map above, when I zoom in there is a big square of white/no colour exactly where I am...will I have digital today or on the 21st when the stage 2 happens.

My postcode is LS29 6PU and doesn't show on the digital website as a valid post code.

Many Thanks

Joe

Joe Parker: Which says you will get Freeview Light from Wharfedale or Addingham, half today, the other half plus Freeview HD in two weeks time.

Ok, thanks. I live in an apartment building and it had the aerial sockets already in the bedroom and livingroom along with sky sockets etc. Sky works fine and there is an aerial on the roof of the building however I have just plugged my tv with built-in-freeview into the socket and done a scan but picked up no channels at all.

Any ideas why? Was there a certain time that they would be completed by today?

Many thanks for your quick reply :-)

I live in the centre of Ilkley and have just switched from analogue to freeview. However, the TV says that there is no signal and we are getting a picture for about 10 seconds, then black

Might it be the aerial (although we had no problem with our analogue signal) or is it a problem with our location near the moor?

Helen: You should have a perfect signal from the Wharfedale transmitter. Is your aerial on the roof?

Ditto with Helen!
Yesterday we tried to retune mothers TV in central Ilkley. The freeview box found NO signals whatsoever.
She lives in a block of flats, where we cannot see where the aerial points. Being over 75 she has had the free visit and was told her signal comes from Emley. We retuned her to analogue but with no BBC2.

We are in Burley-in-Wharfedale. We now have (without Freeview) all the BBC chanels incl Red Button and radio, but no BBC2 or Ch5. Our aerial points to Wharfedale.

Despite the advice being to retune to get BBC2, neither of us can get it.

Will we both have to wait 2 weeks to get these?

Rob: BBC TWO has closed forever on analogue, Channel 5 was never broadcast from the Wharfedale transmitter.

You must now be using Freeview to receive any BBC channels, the "red button" is ONLY carried on Freeview so you must be using it.

Briantist
Thanks for your prompt response.

I do not have a freeview box and my TV (new) does not have onboard Freeview.

If I did have either surely I would be getting BBC2 by retuning?

Also, will Ch5 be available in 2 weeks time?
