For all those who have signal boosters. I found that my old booster was not able to carry the extra quality needed for digital signals. As soon as I replaced it with an approved digital booster everything worked fine!

Diana: The likely answer is that Bolehill will never broadcast these services. See here for an explanation:

However, a look at the Digital UK predictor suggests that you can might be able to receive from Sutton Coldfield which carries these extra channels.
If you can get Sutton Coldfield, then you could have a second aerial installed for it for the commercial channels. You would continue to use Bolehill so as to get the correct regional programming (assuming that this is of interest to you).

Could someone tell me if there is a problem with the Bolehill transmitter , as I cannot get any of the commercial channels this morning 2 nd November, on my television. This also happened last night at certain intervals.
I ave retuned and still the problem is accruing .

I am experiencing what I presume must be fading on all three televisions capable of receiving an HD signal from Bolehill. Is this due to fading as a result of the high temperature and is there any answer other than to sit it out and wait for things to cool down?

Alan Bunting: What do you mean by fading? Digital signals don't fade, there is either enough signal to resolve the picture or not enough resulting in the picture breaking up (digital cliff effect). Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Do not attempt to retune.

hi I am experiencing difficulties with my tv pixalating .I have a digital aerial connected with sat cable. I seem to have a strong signal but I am close to bolehill so is the signal to strong .I have tuned the tv in twice

clive walker: You don't have a digital aerial as no such thing exists (an aerial is just a piece of metal and isn't analogue or digital). Retuning will never fix a problem where the signal is too weak (or too strong) and often just makes things worse by deleting channels which were correctly tuned to begin with. If the signal really is too strong then you should try fitting an attenuator to reduce the signal strength. If you provide a full postcode we will be able to see your predicted coverage and may be able to offer more specific advice.
