Thanks for the reply Brian - The position appears to be that Calver Peak transmitter has Freeview Light - this means that viewers will only receive around eighteen channels as opposed The full package of sixty Freeview channels which will be available from the main UK transmitters! - We now have more stations than we had before changeover but other UK viewers are receiving three times as many! - Many thanks - David

Wiill Channel 4's new 'catch up' Channel 4seven be available on Freeview from the Calver Peak transmitter?
I note that ALL Channel 4's other channels ARE available from this transmitter- and therefore can see no logical reason why just ONE of them should be omitted.

John Hearnshaw: Unfortunately 4seven won't be available from the Calver Peak transmitter because it is carried on one of the Commercial multiplexes which don't broadcast from there.
It will be available on Freesat:

Hi,
I lost reception from Calver Peak transmitter on Saturday evening. I have checked all cabling apart from connection to aerial on roof and can find no problems. I have also tried resetting both my TVs but they cannot find a signal. Before I called in a TV engineer to look at the aerial I just wanted to confirm that no one else in the area has reported any issues with this mast

Ian Bohill: As you can see at the top of the page, it seems to be working properly (and if there is a delay in updating the info, it would be more like hours, not two days) so yes, its almost certainly your system.

Hi, what would be my best option for receiving movie channels in Newhaven, Derbyshire SK17 0DT. Already have a sky dish and box as used to have Sky for standard package + movies, is there a cheaper option than Sky? Please email me any advice, info, thank you.

Mrs Allen: If you have a stable internet connection (ideally 5Mbps or faster) there are various movie subscripition services that are worth considering. As this website is focused on free TV I won't go in to detail, but Amazon Prime, Netflix and Now TV are all worth looking at.
