No BBC services from Oakenhead since 01:00 15/11/2025. Break could have happened earlier I only returned to my house at 01:00

Looks like it went off just before you got home! The BBC are reporting a fault (storm damage/power cut maybe?)

Hope you didn't Retune, you can't tune to signals that aren't there, it will likely just clear your correct tuning.
Check with your Distribution Network Operator (DNO) - Electricity NorthWest? - for power cuts in that area.

Currently (10:09 15/11/2025) there are no services at all available from Oakenhead.
Do you think it might be time to update your "This transmitter has no current reported problems" statement on this page ?

Paul Higginbottom: The transmitter engineering notices come from an automated feed provided by BBC Engineering. Nobody from this website has any involvement with updating them.
