Dave: thanks for the link. Anything I have been able to find by googling suggests it was all fixed by yesterday afternoon - and it did come back on from around 1530 yesterday until well after midnight. But this morning it was down again when my Father-in-law got up at 10 o'clock, and was still down when I spoke to him about 10 minutes ago.

Since about 8 pm tonight have had no commercial channels and broken reception for BBC channels. Hopeless. Had recorders set for 3 programmes and have nothing but blank screen! This is in Bath.

Judith Burgess: I suggest they replace 4G with something that works for the majority of people who by Government regulations have the right to receive Freeview Channels now ruined by aerials transferring 4G uprated signal. Having worked in mobile before the nonsense bankrupted small children selling them advertising by 4G and interfering in our Science and engineering work vital to England and our employment by what is a very poor system and a general con' using old limited technology re-recycled. When 4G is replaced by some working cheap system it will move on, the aerias will litter the country still unused, telecommunications private companies operate on a trial and see basis running around with company tax paid vans yelling at each other for information, do not give them any for free they get paid, the rest of us suffer, losing taxes they receive as grant aided industry from Conservative Party bank rolled. When I worked there hackers were deprived and security was the priority, now hacking, leaking is their objective and security of your life is bottom of the list. I was going to the next step after days trying to repair reception, the Ombudsman, but since 2010 I guess that is irrelevant he/ she organized this mess. Can I charge the government and 4G for our loss and costs? Do something about it as long as 4G bullying remains I shall not buy 4G systems. Nothing unusual in telecomm company sales since 1979 all this, usually bent Eastern European fridges imported for New Year sales. I can be as rude as I like after suffering 45 years of computer thugs.

Henry ford: If you click on the R + T Investigation link , you can see that neither Bath or Mendip are seemingly having a problem. You can ask a neighbour to see if they are having problems, but it sounds like soemthing within your own system (check which trasnmitter your tuned to).

About a month ago, I suddenly got a few signal problems with channel 4, e4, film 4 and itv. Now they won't work at all. I'm still receiving great signal from the bbc channels though. Does anybody know what might be the cause?
