oliver marland: Logically, if there is nothing wrong with the transmitter, it has to be you. Sounds like you've an aerial system fault which has got to the point that its totally gone. Likely a break somewhere, which has become final.

Nothing else viewable beyond BBC channels. Even tried retuning and that's removed all the non BBC channels ???

ALL: There is no fault reporting for the PSB2 (D3+4) multiplex.
If your channels are blank PLEASE DON'T RETUNE.
The best thing to do is to keep trying every hour to see if they work again.
If you have retuned already, if the channels are missing from the EPG, they won't just reappear. Wait until they are confirmed as back on air, and retune then.
Thanks.

I live in Bath within the bright green area. I retuned on 3 Sep as instructed but the picture still "freezes" as if it is in the Pause mode. It is also not possible to change channels. I switch off and then on again. The picture is OK for a while then freezes again. Sometimes the screen goes blank with the message "No Service". If I go into EPG it initialy comes up with "No available information". Friends of mine are also having the same problems which to me proves it is not a fault at my end.

re Bath Light transmitter. I am at BA2 5LZ and since the heavy thurderstorms a couple of weeks ago I only get high quality BBC TV channels a BBC Radio channels. As to the remaining ones, all I've been getting is "poor" or none". Please can you test it yourself and rectify it ASAP. Thanks.

Brian Fooks: Your just 3km from the transmitter, and since it apparently has no problems, it sounds like your system is up the spout. The 'thunderstorms' is a clue - heavy rain and high winds are exactly the sort of thing that frays cables, lets in water and strains connections. Hence the problem. Since your so close to the transmitter, you might get away with an indoor aerial.
