We have been unable to receive any channels from the Gt Missenden TV transmitter, normal channels and freeview, for two evenings now. Please advise what is wrong.

We have checked different televisions with different aerials and all are the same - no signal.

when will the engineering work at the Great Missenden transmitter be finished. We have had no signal for 3 days. There seems little point in trying to retune when there is no signal at all. we are at HP160EG

john obee: The engineering work was completed on 21st March. As this has resulted in all multiplexes at Great Missenden moving to new frequencies you will need to retune and may potentially require a new aerial (this can be arranged by contacting the Freeview Advice Line and will be free of charge if you don't have satellite or cable - see link below).

Since around February we have not been able to pick up BBC1, BBC2, ITV and several other channels on Freeview. I have retuned the set but there is no signal from the Oxford transmitter. Our aerial is on the roof and the picture was fine until the change in transmission. Do I need a new aerial?

Robert:

If you did not have your aerial changed to a wideband type when the channels were re-organised in February then you probably need one to replace your current aerial.

You may qualify for a free aerial replacement but you must contact Freeview by calling them at 0808 100 0288.

Good afternoon
It appears that the red air navigation beacon at the top of Great Missenden mast is not working...
I thought you had better be aware of this
