Hi, I have no signal and I understand there is some work at Hagg Wood. Please can you say when the signal will go back on as it has been off since this morning.

The reported engineering works supposedly finished at 1703 yesterday. As of 1510 today (20th Feb) I still have only itv c4 & 5 and a couple of +1s, does anyone know when normal service will be resumed? Watched a very pixelated Champions League last night and would like to SEE Europa League tomorrow!!

Since the engineering works on the 19th Feb I have had little or no tv reception (I occasionally have itv, c4 and c5 only) I have done several re scans - manual and automatic. I have also done several re boots. I have checked all connections with the aerial. The aerial is situated on the roof and we have had no extreme weather. Prior the the engineering works we had perfect reception. I would appreciate any help to restore my reception.

Jon Eastwell: So what signal strength and/or quality came up on the screen when you did a manual scan? (presumably you used UHF 59 and 55)

The other option is there's something wrong with the transmitter after the engineering works, but that would affect more than just yourself, so check with your neighbours when you get a chance.

Transmitter engineering:
Hi. We are only getting BBC channel's at the moment, but not the HD ones. We get our signal from the the HD ones. We get our signal from the Hagg Wood relay transmitter (Freeview lite).

William Rose:

This is very strange. nobody is reporting a transmitter fault or Planned Engineering.
Where is your aerial, on the roof or in the loft? I assume that if you are getting your signal from Hagg Wood then the aerial rods (or squashed Xs) are vertical. Have you looked at the aerial to make sure it's still pointing correctly?

We really need a full postcode to look at your predicted reception.
You could also look in your TV Tuning section and try a manual retune for UHF channel 45 for the BBCB HD multiplex.

Hello,

Since the weekend, we are only able to receive the main BBC channels from the Hagg Wood transmitter. I have done a retune but this has made no difference. I might add that this transmitter has often been problematic over the years.
