Why does Hawick transmitter switch off every morning guys at 03,00 hrs and not come back on till about 06.00 hrs

Jackie: The transmitter does not get switched off overnight, none of them do. What you are seeing is most likely the effect of electrical interference from something operating on a timer (could be in your own home or a near neighbour).

Jackiie: The transmitter isn't being switched off overnight, no Freeview transmitter does that. It's quite likely that you're suffering from local electrical interference from something operating on a timer which is spewing out electrical noise and drowning out the signal.
