Chris: Pick, Dave and Challenge are on COM5 not COM4, so could you clarify which mux you have lost? Were you previously receiving COM4/5/6 before the recent retune? COM4/5/6 were only recently added to Seagry Court so if you were receiving them prior to the recent retune you must have been getting them from another transmitter (probably Mendip going by the postcode you've provided). Which direction does your aerial point? Seagry Court is approximately east, whereas Mendip is roughly South West from your location.

StevensOnln1: Morning. I've tried to look at that but I don't think I'm able to tell that as I can't find anything on my Samsung TV that gives me the option to look at this. The only thing I know is that we don't get any issues you could put down to a weak signal - image quality, intermittent loss of channel etc, on the other muxes. Cheers Chris

Chris: go to setup and then into tuning. Manual tune will allow you to look at a particular channel and it should tell you what the strength and quality is. Samsung is a bit more complex than the others, but have a look on Google for guidance.
It could be that your tuned to the wrong transmitter, or have not yet retuned. Or your system is at fault.

MikeB: Thanks Mike. Appreciate the response. I did a search after I posted and I can see there is a way to do this on a Samsung TV but its in the least obvious Menu Option. I'll check tonight, make sure I can do it and post an update then. Thanks again. Chris

MikeB: Hi Mike. Signal Strength is between 90 and 100, depending on Channel. Bit Error Level (I assume this is a measure of Quality) is 0 on all. I have retuned each day and still no joy. I'm confident we are Seagry - Aerial ponits in that direction, we've had only a few digital channels (approx 30) until Feb/Mar 2018, when we got over 100 and that was the first time we got Pick, Challenge etc. They have been fine upto the last week, when we lost them and can't get them now. Another user has reported a similar problem. Thanks Chris.

Chris: That's a really high signal straight- I would normally assume you'd get the tuner blanking out from that level.
It sounds like you did have the local light transmitter, but then you retuned automatically, and then you got the full range from another transmitter. And then you lost That.
Some Samsung's have needed a software patch, etc to cope with the frequency changes, but it's might be similar for you to start with the basics. Put your postcode into your next reply, and it should generate automatically a lot of data regarding your position. At the moment we have no idea as to what signal you should get or could get, and therefore what you should expect.
You should be able to find out what transmitter you are on from a) the number of channels and b) by looking at what channel BBC1 is broadcast on when you go to manual tuning. If it matches the channel number at the top of the page, you know you on that one.
The direction of the aerial would also be useful. And check your cables - if you have lost a mux etc then that's often a key factor.

MikeB: Hi Mike. Oddly we've got COM5 channels back. I rescanned over the weekend and we now have 138 channels. Again, the signal strength is 95-100 on those channels. My postcode is SN2 2TG. I checked what you suggested and I am, and have been, picking up Seagry all the time. Seagry is very close to SN2 2Tg. Other transmitters we 'could' pick up in my area are Mendip and Oxford but they are quite some way away and our aerial is not pointing to those. Cheers C

On the 22nd August i lost all HD channels 101-105. I am on a communal Ariel in a block of flats. Another block on a different Ariel has also lost these channels. Help! Both from seagry court.
