Hi I have no signal on either of my televisions since this morning. It just says 'no signal'. I live in the Ventnor are of the Isle of Wight Postcode PO38 1BU.

As you may now have noticed, from the post immediately before yours and one since, from Transmitter Engineering, the Ventnor transmitter was off-air for a good few hours, presumably due to some sort of fault as no Planned Engineering was listed. I assume you now have your signals back.

As now revealed, Ventnor transmitter went off on 10th October - help, panic, who can tell me what's happening? Was it doing the re-tune a few days early?
It appears to have been a "normal" fault - nothing to do with the re-tuning, but it was very difficult to find out ANYTHING!
Just hope all goes ok on 16th . . .

It could well have been for some engineering work or checking the navigation lights as all of those mean an engineer climbing the mast and they have to turn the transmitter off for health and safety reasons.
