Thank you for putting me right on the Log Periodic front.I have a log band 111 on Dab,works well N and S.
Sig strength at this local,no problem on IOM (can see it out the window.
The Deflectors make a big difference on the 1 for all, best so far ,without going to more expence for the friend who lives here.
Have been at this DVB-T2 ,HD reception interference prob since IOM s/o back in Oct.
Getting there, but no doubt more fun ahead for all in N.Ireland rural areas. Thanks again.

IOM HD.
If you want it to work, look behind you, point the front of your aerial away from your Tx,drop the height. It all works ,after doing all the "Right things "for months.
I suppose you would start out by trying to get the max signal out of the nearby relay, and low SD 100%.HD Ch50 zero.
As you pointed out the nice people in Wales have a big Tx on Ch 50,long way off,but coming in the back of the Yagi.
Problem solved by concentrating on the Deflector position, not the active element at all,in fact point it well away from IOM.
I do believe the change of aerial made a big difference, may try removing the amp next!
Thanks for your input,HD fans beware.
