Just a naive question - as the happy recipient of 30+ new Freeview channels on 7 September and today, is there any plan to provide further Freeview channels from Skipton Town? Disappointed that, for example, we have not received ITV4, FilmFour, Dave etc.
Thanks

It makes me sick ,that for years a couple of mile,s down the road you get all the channels for the exact same TV licence, and Yes I know that the BBC are only required to provide diital TV channels for our licence fee ,and the rest are commmercial channels so dont count ,but why do us in Skipton have to put up with this ? and pay the same price.

Phil Martin: Dependant on exactly where you are in Skipton in relation to any local obstructions, but it wouldn't do any harm to try blanking out all the channels stored in your TV or box by either carrying out a factory re-set, or by re-tuning with the aerial removed.

Once done re-connect the aerial and try a manual tune on Keighley's BBC and ITV multiplexes, these being Mux Ch61 (BBC) and Mux Ch58 (ITV) as there is a chance that you "might" be able to pick them up or the rear of your aerial, albeit that the rear is not facing exactly the correct angle for Keighley.

If by any chance you can receive these two channels then the remaining four could be likewise be tuned in, this giving a full compliment of stations, as Keighley is shown as a possibility for reception on your code.

Thank you for informing us that the local Skipton transmitter is closed down for engineering work. Are you able to predict when we will have a signal?

Skipton Town was off air - both of the non-HD multiplexes, not just BBC - from 11.51 until 19.39. Very frustrating.

As often happens during wet / windy weather, there have been problems during today with the BBC channels multiplex - since 19.15, all BBC TV (non-HD) and radio channels are missing.

Since 9pm last night I have lost all Freeview channels except those provided by BBC. Every other channel just says no signal available.

Tried to retune and now all other channels have been lost completely.

What's going on. (53.9662,-2.0055)
