Sorry about the delay - family stuff.
Yes, I got full freeview coverage before switchover from Hastings. I can still get"Dave" that way but not via my new HD freeview box.
I can get "ITV3" and "Yesterday" no problem.
I can see a signal strength screen, how do I associate it with a channel (frequency?).

Tony Ashby: Dave is carried on COM5 (ArqA) multiplex which is on UHF channel 26 from Hastings transmitter. So if your receiver has manual tuning, attempt a tune to C26.

Tony Ashby: I should point out that your are missing a single multiplex.
Refer to this page for the services by multiplex (those with a bullet under "E"/England apply):
DMOL Post-DSO Multiplex Channel Allocations
As you have ITV3 and Yesterday, you must have COM4 and COM6.
For the UHF channel numbers of each of the multiplexes from Hastings, follow this link (click the word "Hastings") to its transmitter page.

Thanks Dave, will give it a go.
As an academic question, how did my problem arise?
My roof aerial points to Hastings (will align to Heathfield soon) and feeds a HD Freeview box. This in turn links to a Freeview recorder (by scart and co-ax) which links to a Freeview TV (by scart and co-ax).
The HD box is linked to the TV by HDMI.
I don't have enough sockets to do it any other way.
I can't get "Dave" via the HD box but can get it via the recorder or via the TV.
I can't work that out, can you?

Incidentally, Dave, I'm getting 60% on C26 at 514 Mhz

Tony Ashby: It difficult to say how it might have arisen. I would be much more concerned should you loose reception of this or any other multiplex.
The only logical explanation is that you lost reception of COM5 when you did the scan. Whether this is indicative of the possibility that you may have hit and miss reception, only time will tell.
Dave HD is not available on Freeview and isn't likely to be soon (if ever)!

Just to let you know, I have found all the channels I was previously missing. Thanks Dave.
My latest (since wednesdat) HD problem is this occasional message "no audio/video or waiting for program card update".
Does this mean I have no signal or is more afoot?
I am in Bexhill and my aerial is pointed at Hastings.

I have 2 identical LG Wide Screen TV`s.
The one in the lounge has the Free View TV programme guide up to date and in sync with current viewing.
However, the second TV in the bedroom has the TV listings out of sync.
The program start times are totally wrong and are out by 1 Hour. eg Choosing a programme timed at 8.00 to 9.00am will produce the next program of 9.00 - 10.00am.
Retuning this TV has not solved the problem.
The built in clock to this TV is also losing time and has to be reset on a far too regular basis.
Is this problem solvable, or has the TV inherited a serious fault which will not go away?
