Well ........ here we are again. ' No transmission problems ' ....... are you
having a laugh ? Bincombe Hill has nothing
BUT transmission problems. Even BBC admit it's been off air ( for the umpteenth time )
since about 3pm . That's 4hrs now. No
explanation .... no apology (as if ). Do not bother to buy a DAB radio if you live in this area ! Me? I've got three ! Any offers ?

Bob Smith: That will be because there are no transmission problem.
Reception problems are nearly never caused by transmitter problems.

My friend gets "Quest" & "Dave" and much more from the Dorset Bincombe transmitter. I cannot! How do they do this and how can I get these channels on Freeview?

John Jenkins:
The simple answer is they are not getting them from Bincombe Hill as it's a Freeview Light transmitter which doesn't transmit the multiplexes that those channels are on, it only transmits the 3 PSB multiplexes. For which channels are on which multiplex, see Channel listings | Freeview
So as they are getting them from another transmitter, we'll need your friend's full postcode and yours to look at the predicted reception at your locations to see which transmitters and multiplexes may be receivable.
