David Shaw: They never announce how long it will be off for, but the work is usually done for they day by the time it gets dark. Do not attempt to retune.

Having big problems receiving anything this week. Have a roof aerial which looks intact. S321as.
Have auto returned several times to no avail.

The only transmitter faults reported are as in the post before yours. You shouldn't have any trouble receiving from Shatton Edge it's only about 3km from you. Your aerial should be pointing a tiny fraction S of W bearing 263 degrees with the rods vertical.
If you retuned when you lost signal it might have tuned to a weak transmitter.
Try unplugging the aerial and doing an automatic tune which should clear all previous tuning as nothing will be found. Then plug the aerial back in and retune again. Hopefully everything will be restored correctly.
