Briantist: I'm sorry I'm not sure what you mean. I thank you very much indeed for your advice, it was only a suggestion. I don't know who puts the transmitter engineering posts on - is it you? Another suggestion to myself would be not to panic and wait a day as a matter of course, as things seem often to sort themselves out with a bit of patience. So thank you again,

Judy Palmer: There are widespread faults, but none is reported for this transmitter as yet. So, it could be your aerial. I would also check the Freeview reception has changed? | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice page.

I have tried to install the BBC,itv,Ch.4& BBC one HD, but my tv cannot find them. I have a HD ready tv with freeview,but still i cannot get these channels. Do i need additional equipment to receive these channels

I have tried to recieve Sky Sports 1 & 2 from BT vision but have found out that the Kendal transmitter does not transmit these channels (41 & 42) unfortunatly I cannot see Lancaster transmitter which does have these channels, When will the Kendal transmitter be upgraded so I can recieve Sky Sports 1 & 2 on BT vision.

Paul: I'm sorry, we aren't aware of any plans for the commercial multiplex operators to extend their services to any new masts (that they did not serve before switchover). They have said that it would be too expensive. See 'Freeview Light' for more information.
You will have to subscribe to Sky's satellite service to get Sky Sports.

For the last few days our Freeview signal has been intermittent on all televisions. Our aerial is on the roof. (HARWICH,ESSEX)
