We live in Peebles and are supported by signal from the Peebles relay transmitter. We currently only have signal for BBC1 and BBC2 and no other stations.
Can you check the status of the transmitter signal.

Tim Hayes:
I suspect that it is the stations in the PSB2 bunch that are missing. Is it possible that there could be a problem with this one group whilst the others are unaffected?

Tim Hayes:
If you had signals for BBC1 & BBC2, you should also have had BBC News LCN231, Parliament LCN232, CBBC & Cbeebies 201 & 202, as well as Radio stations on LCNs 700-710. If you weren't getting those as well, apart from the possibility of a problem with the transmitter or the feed to it (none have been reported), it could be your set has a problem with memory or tuning. Had you retuned when this problem with ITV etc occurred?
It's never advised to retune when you have no signal or badly pixellated pictures as this usually just clears your correct tuning. If you did this when you lost ITV, C4 and C5 etc (all PSB2) then it might be best to do a full retune.
Unplug the aerial and do an automatic retune. This should clear all existing tuning and memory as no signal should be found. Plug the aerial back in and repeat the automatic retune. Hopefully all the channels will be restored in their correct LCNs.
If you are still missing channels check that your aerial looks intact and is still pointing correctly (rods should be vertical for Peebles), also check all your coax connections in case something is not plugged in correctly. Bad connections etc can sometimes only affect one multiplex.
Does your set have an HD/T2 tuner? If so, are you getting the HD channels on 101-106/108 & 204/205. If you aren't check with neighbours to see if they have the same issue.

Update. This could be a problem with the feed to the transmitter as there is a similar problem with the Innerleithen relay transmitter. See that page for details.

I have spoken to Arqiva who were as much help as a pile of ....., who said speak to Freeview and we all know they say nothing to do with us.
So I've spoken to Channel 4 who will try and get a message through to someone on out-of-hours call (but of course no guarantees!).
So if anyone else wants to try ITV or Channel 5 it might add more grist to the mill.

Update - You should now have your content back on PSB2. I've had a call-back from someone I spoke to this afternoon who managed to contact a relevant party at Arqiva and it seems the call to Channel 4 produced a result. Arqiva had a call-out last night. Good news.
