I plugged in my freeview box for the first time last week and got a very strong signal but could only get BBC 1, 2, 3 ,4 and Alba. I am aware that the analogue signal is switched off on the 22nd of June so will I not be able to get any other channels after that time

Lee Howard: On 22nd June 2011 when analogue ITV1 is switched off it will be replaced by Mux D3+4 on C41+. Additionally analogue Channel 4 on C47 will be replaced by Mux BBCB, the HD mux which you will receive if you have a suitable HD receiver which supports DVB-T2.

Can you explain why the West Kilbride transmitter is not providing all the MUX channels as we can not get all the freeview channels that are available to people tuned directly to the Blackhills transmitter.
Also when will this be rectified?

From the West Kilbride transmitter, we only appear to get 19 FreeView TV Channels.
I set up a friends new TV at the weekend
and I noticed they received a large number of additional channels. E.g. Film4, 5*, 5USA and others.
They use the transmitter that covers Adrossan.
Why aren't these available on the West Kilbride transmitter

The main transmitter they're using is probably Darvel. If you provide a full postcode we can check whether a full service is expected to be available from this or any other full-service transmitter.

Good morning, for some reason over the last two weeks the picture on Freeview has been very intermittent and not watchable as if something has changed in the transmitter settings, has there been any changes to the settings ? This affects a brand new TV and three other sets.

Colin Mulvana:
To find out if there have been any changes we need a full postcode. From that we can determine which transmitter you might be using and any particular reception problems there may be, it is not possible without that.
