Your web site states that BBC digital TV and a whole lot of other services (including DAB radio) are off air from 9.07 this morning (7th August) but doesn't say when they are coming back on. I can get no terrestrial TV signal but I can receive a DAB radio signal. Please clarify what is going on.

john Morgan: Not that I'm aware of. However -- and this might be what you were told about -- ITV4 will become available from all transmitters this month, this obviously requiring a retune if your TV doesn't automatically add it:

If you are using the Wharfedale transmitter there has been some engineering work recently and that involved turning off the transmissions for short periods.
Otherwise you should check your aerial connections and leads for any damage and check all the plugs/socketc for any corrosion or oxidation of the contacts.

I have tried everything to get BBC Yorkshire and ITV Yorkshire back after retuning my TV on the 15th February 2020. I have now lost all Yorkshire area channels, BBC One Yorkshire (Look North) and ITV Yorkshire (Calendar).
Everything was fine until the retune and I now only get the North East and Cumbria channels from the Bilsdale transmitter. There is no region option anymore neither as it used to say Yorkshire or North East. Now it's just North East so no option. I live in BD7 4PW area of Bradford, West Yorkshire.
So annoying!

I'm not sure if you are assuming that you have been getting your signals from Wharfedale looking at some of your previous posts, as I see you've moved. The Freeview Detailed Coverage Checker shows that Wharfedale is not the best transmitter at your current location.
Whilst you are predicted to get reception from two local relays Wharfedale & Keighley, you are also predicted to get some reception from 3 main transmitters, Bilsdale, Belmont and Emley Moor.
Wharfedale is a "Light" transmitter with only the 3 main PSB multiplexes, Keighley transmits the 6 main ones, whilst the main transmitters transmit all 8. You'e not predicted to get every multiplex from any of the transmitters but Emley Moor is predicted to give excellent reception of the main 6 - PSBs1-3, COMs4-6.
Now, the strange thing is that Bilsdale is in an almost similar direction to Wharfedale but it's Horizontally polarised whilst Wharfedale is vertical! I think the best thing is to check which way your aerial is actually pointing. I'll also give the details for Emley Moor.
I'll put all these in the next post.

Wharfedale - Aerial rods vertical, pointing ~NNE bearing 20 degrees, UHF channels C25, C22, C28.
Bilsdale - Aerial rods Horizontal, pointing ~NNE bearing 32 degrees, UHF C21, C24, C27, C43, C46, C40, C55, C56
Keighley - Aerial rods vertical, pointing ~NNW bearing 334 degrees, UHF C40, C43, C46, C29, C31, C37
Emley Moor ~ Aerial rods Horizontal, pointing ~SSE bearing 153 degrees, UHF C37, C44, C41, C33, C36, C48, C55, & C56
You'll not that Bilsdale & Keighley share some channels so there's predicted co-channel interference, the reason you're unlikely to get al multiplexes from w#either transmitter.
Your best bet is to get the aerial realigned for Emley Moor, make sure it's a Group T / Wideband. You may even get COMs 7&8 as the predictions may have changed due to some recent transmitter changes on the 12th Feb.

You have posted on the Wharfedale (Light) transmitter page - it only broadcasts the 3 main PSB mutliplexes, and no commercial ones - but you are not predicted to receive it in the postcode you have provided.
The Freeview Coverage checker suggests that your most likely transmitter is Bilsdale where you should have had excellent reception, and if so and your aerial points slightly N of NE (bearing 31 degrees and rods horizontal) and you have no reception since the fire at the transmitter, then reads all the posts and updates on the Bilsdale transmitter page.
As I'm sure you know this transmitter covers the Tyne Tess region. Arqiva in their latest update hope that reception will be returned to remaining areas by the 28th August by a temporary mast.
If however you'd prefer the Yorkshire region instead, then you are predicted to get very good reception from the Emley Moor transmitter, but your aerial would need to point in almost the opposite direction at bearing 193 degrees - slightly W of due S. BUT you may need the advice of a professional aerial installer who knows the area (one who's been recommended by someone you know or who is CAI registered) as predictors aren't always 100% and there maybe local obstructions to the signal.
