we have had a sudden loss of digital signal, ive checked the aerial,wiring,box, signal boosters been bought and swapped for another we have tried another box as well but still no better does anyone have any ideas?

Hi,
I use Freesat and recently have been unable to do a Freesat tune, but can do a manual tune. I have also lost Iplayer (via a Humax Hd receiver) Is the problem with the box or the LNB (which is ex Sky)? Rebooting and retuning produces the same result.

Hi Tuning the Humax hd offers a choice between a Freesat tune and a manual tune. The freest tune should result in the set of freesat channels only with the epg. The manual tune finds all available channels, including duplicates, making more difficult to find the channels we want. Also there is no red button channel, we freest tune finds no channels at all, but the manual tune finds about 200, Any idea what is wrong?

I get Freeview successfully from the Newbattle transmitter, but only a limited subset of available programs are transmitted.
Is there any program of upgrades to expand the programs from this local transmitter to those available from other transmitters?

Julian Kettle: No; Newbattle carries the Public Service Channels and the Commercial ones don't wish to spend the money. See here - the explanation applies equally:

Please post a question, answer or commentIf you have Freeview reception problems before posting a question your must first do this Freeview reset procedure then see: Freeview reception has changed, Single frequency interference, and Freeview intermittent interference.

If you have no satellite signal, see Sky Digibox says 'No Signal' or 'Technical fault'

If you have other problems, please provide a full (not partial) postcode (or preferably enter it in box at the top right) and indicate where if aerial is on the roof, in the loft or elsewhere.
