Although above it says there is no reported problem on the Strabane Mast, Since the Lightening on Thurs afternoon 7th Nov, myself and my neighbour are having viewing problems - loss of signal on all channels expect RTE which we receive from Raphoe. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

David herron: Probably never. This question is asked about one transmitter or another almost every day and the answer is the same every time. The channels which you don't receive are operated by commercial broadcasters, with most being available from 80 transmitters which cover 90% of UK households. To reach 98.5% coverage (matching BBC, ITV, Channel 4 & Channel 5) requires over 1,000 additional transmitters which the commercial broadcasters are not interested in broadcasting from due to the costs involved. If you want more channels either provide a full postcode so that we can see whether you might be able to use another transmitter, or look at getting Freesat which will give you almost all of the channels available on Freeview (and many others too) for a one-off cost.

Bart:
If you put your postcode into Digital UK - Coverage checker it will give you an idea about the predicted reception under the entries "Reception changes" if there is any effect.

Chris.SE: I don't think Digital UK provide information on Irish transmitters. Does anyone know of any equivalent website for Saorview in Ireland?

StevensOnln1:
Strabane is a Northern Ireland transmitter and will therefore be covered by Digitaluk. Any changes to other transmitters that might affect reception of Strabane will be reflected in the predicted reception should it have any impact. Bart seems to be concerned about the actual reception from Strabane and not directly concerned with receiving Donegal.

Chris.SE: But Bart was asking about what will happen to Saorview in Donegal, which assuming they live there they won't have a postcode to enter into Digital UK, which wouldn't return any coverage or frequency data for a Saorview transmitter in the Republic of Ireland, nor will any data be available for coverage of a UK transmitter outside of the UK.

StevensOnln1:
You have misread Bart's post -
Quote "What will happen when saorview in donegal changes some transmitters to the exact a as me frequencies as the strabane frequencies in September 2019"
The key words (with typo) being "to the exact a as me frequencies ...." which I take to mean "MY frequencies" and after all he has posted on the Strabane page asking what will happen. IF I am wrong then he'll have to look elsewhere, if I'm correct, the information I've provide will tell him.
