Chris.SE: Perhaps you missed the Irish flag underneath Bart's post, which I believe signifies that it was posted from an IP address in Ireland, hence my answer. Digital UK shows that Strabane will change frequencies on 4th September, but doesn't tell us about any Saorview transmitters in Ireland with overlapping coverage.

You and I (as a result of your first post) have made it clear that if Bart is talking about Saorview reception, he'll have to look elsewhere, perhaps Saorview | Coverage

As he hasn't given a postcode, neither of us can say if there will or will not be any "Reception Change" entries on the coverage checkers for his location.
As far as I can ascertain, there are no changes to Saorview transmitters in 2019, so if the answers we've provided don't answer his question, he'll need to be more specific.

Hi
Since I have had to return my TV on 4th September all my BBC channels have breaking up and sometimes no reception at all. On 1 TV which is a Panasonic since return it has failed to pick up any BBC channel.
I have followed all help web links but I still have the same issues of poor reception and no reception on all BBC channels since forced retune.
Any idea when this issue will be resolved. Post code BT828BW house no/ 47

nigel j shields: If you are having problems following the recent frequency changes you should contact the Freeview Advice Line (see link below) who can arrange for a replacement wideband aerial to be fitted free of charge if you don't have satellite or cable.

Hi just wanting to know is there an upgrade planned for this mast in Strabane?
We are not receiving the same amount of Freeview channels as Coleraine and other times throughout the north of Ireland

paul Sproule: There are no known plans for any additional services to be broadcast from Strabane. If you provide a full postcode we can check if you might be able to receive more channels from another transmitter.
