My postcode is SA43 1PN, when the switchover came in 2009 I was able to receive all of the freeview channels with good result, now for the last two weeks I am losing channels even BBC1 & BBC2 at times, my equipment has not changed have you turned down the signal strength?

Hi,just a query re :- Channels in the LL40 1LT
area, Will this area have all the remaining channels in the near future on Freeview ?. At
present there is a limited amount of channels
that can be viewed. I have been told that this
problem is that the reception is relayed to the Mast at LL40 1LT via relay stations.
Awaiting your Response.
Regards John H Williams

Hello. I just tuned in a new Freeview HD TV and unlike my Freesat I can't get CH4 HD but only S4C HD. I am in SA44 and in line of site to the transmitter and get a high signal. I thought both were available here and the Freeview HD availability page indicates I should get CH 4 HD.
Will CH4 HD come to Preseli in the future?
Thanks Mike.

Mike Angle: Google something like Channel 4 HD Wales.
I would imagine that the answer is likely to be no because if they did put C4HD (I would expect C4 will have to pay for it!) on in Wales, then the spare HD slot that is available will then not be UK-wide; i.e. it will exclude Wales.

Thanks for that. I now see that Ch4 HD is not available anywhere in Wales. The Freesat area checker is still claiming it is however.
I noticed a homophone in my post too late.
