Hello,
I've just purchased a Panasonic DVD recorder that's capable of receiving high definition broadcasts but when it tuned it from the Scoval transmitter on Skye in Scotland, no high definition channels were picked up at all. My TV was made before high definition tuners began to be built in but it is high definition and plays Blu-ray in 1080 lines.

I would have thought it would have displayed hi def channels if coming from a new recorder. Do you have any ideas.

James

James Kellam: Every Freeview transmitter broadcast some HD channels on the PSB3 multiplex. What model of Panasonic DVD recorder have you purchased? Does it have a manual tuning function?
