Nottingham NG11AR, marco island building
Lost nearly all channels a couple days ago. Now only have bbc1,2,3,4,news,cbbc etc.
Everything was fine and suddenly gone. Have tried retuning etc. Havent changed any equipment in my flat. Lots of other flats in this building. Anyone else got this problem?

I too live in Nottingham Marco Island NG1 1AS. And have lost all Channels expect for the BBC ones. This happened quite recently.
I have asked the Building Manager Bill to call an AV Engineer to check the ariel, but we need more people to complain.

K/Lenny: You might be sharing the same aerial system as you have very close postcodes.

Hi Brian,
We live in the same apartment block, but some tenants get all the channels & the others have similar problems like ours.. What might be the reason?

K: If everyone has a problem I would consult the management company, I would suspect a fuse has blown in the internal distribution system.

Large distribution systems usually have a separate amplifier for each allocated channel.

Hey Brian,
I assume if the fuse of the distributor had blown, we would get no channels. We only get the BBC ones. And its not all apartments, few receive all channels & few dont.

K: As I said, there are likely to be several devices, so it is possible that a fuse has blown taking out some of the system, or someone has accidentally disconnected a power lead.

I would still talk to whoever manages the system.
