They came back when I checked Monday the 2nd April and lasted all week but now they are breaking up badly so if there are no faults then maybe I am not using this transmitter and I could be using Mynydd Machen ? I did not install my antenna and its in the loft so never checked anything but have had issues with HD channels since the switch over.

Re: Pontypool transmitter.
Rooftop aerial with signal booster but rather low because we live in a bungalow.
Able to receive Ch.22 482MHz - ITV Wales and S4C
but not Ch. 21 474MHz - BBC1 Wales and BBC2 Wales.
Signal quality 0 to 5
Signal strength approx 5.
Mendip signal perfect on different aerial.
Can you help please?

J.T.Verrier: Pontypool does broadcast on C22, but it is COM5/ArqA which carries Pick TV and others.
PSB2: ITV Wales, S4C etc is on C26 and BBC is on C23 and not C21.

I live in the Cwmbran area and have never been able
To recieve hd chans from the pontypool transmitter even though the aerial can see it, sd progs are perfect..I had a local aerial guy come round and see of he could get hd freeview for me and the only way he could recieve hd was to add an aerial and put it on the mendip transmitter and diplex the aerials together. The aerial guy said that he always gets the same problem from the pontypool transmitter with hd but couldn't give me a reason why. Can anyone shed any light on this problem and has any else experienced the same scenario?
