Bethan Williams: If the box has a manual tune function, then you need to go through to it and enter UHF/RF channel 57 for BBC from Llanddona.

Go to ITV1 and bring up signal strength screen and it should say that it is tuned to C60 for Llanddona. If it's not, then let us know what number it is tuned to.

Hello, my freeview box was working fine, but since Sunday there's been no signal for all the channels in frequency C46 and C40. They suddenly came back and worked fine yesterday daytime so I thought the problem had sorted itself out. However since yesterday night it has completely disappeared again.

This site says there are no current problems with the Llanddona transmitter (I'm in Gaerwen) but surely if the box was the problem it wouldn't have been working yesterday?

Anyone have any idea what the problem might be or what I could do?

Glyn Royds: You will have to address your question to the broadcaster, as that is its decision. This is an independent advice site, not connected with any broadcaster.

Refer to the full list of terrestrial services:

Digital UK Industry - Channel listings

125 POP is available on Local television multiplexes only, and is therefore not generally available on Freeview. These multiplexes serve small areas such as some big cities.

Hi there.
Trying to setup a Samsung led tv on an indoor aerial in Holyhead, tried two aerials fitted close to a window, at both sides of the house.
Not getting any channels from either aerial or location.
Help please, any ideas???
Ta Dave Dobbs

david dobbs:

We need a full postcode to help determine reception conditions and which transmitter is best. Indoor aerials are rarely much good, only being suitable if you are very close to the transmitter and have no obstructions in the way. The aerial must be placed where it has clear sight of the transmitter aerial mast and has nothing obstructing the line of sight. People moving in the room or nearby will affect reception, which is why an external or loft aerial is preferable.
