Terry Bannon:
Terry get everyone to call this number 03709016789 and register their complaints with the BBC. This number was given to me by Ofcom. The more calls they get I was told would escalate the issue. It is clearly a result of the alterations made to the muxes on the 27th March as no-one seems to have had a problem for years until then.

RUSTY: The Beacon Hill transmitter is not operating on reduced power, where did you read that, as I cannot see anything to suggest that is the case (other than for brief periods during engineering work)? Forces TV is carried on the COM8 multiplex which is no longer broadcast from Beacon Hill and won't be returning unless the channel moves to another multiplex (no such move has been announced). Also, no one on this website has any connection with any broadcaster or the transmitter company, no one here can turn the power up.

I telephoned the BBC help number about poor HD reception in Exmouth and received confirmation that there are transmission issues at Beacon Hill which affect HD reception. There is supposedly work going on to fix it but no known completion date. No mention was made whether reduced power was involved.

Ring the BBC today on 03709016789 and report the fault, the more people that do the more likely it will be resolved, I will be making my weekly call tomorrow.
