Holland/The Netherlands being mostly a low lying country is possibly one reason why their digital TV signals are higher than anywhere else within Europe.

Mark Fletcher: I would expect that level, low terrain can be serviced with very weak signals.
The issue is that the Netherlands decided that DVB-T was for indoor and mobile reception and for that they have used higher power transmissions.

Your history of Southern TV seems incorrect. You state that it closed on 31 Jan 1992 and that TVS started on 1 Jan 1982.
I think you'll find that Southern finished on 31 Dec 1981.

Roy: A while back I reported deteriorating signal for channel 68 on one aerial in my house but Ok on another aerial I happen to have. This seemed to indicate local interference which I could not trace. Now I have lost channel 68 on the other aerial too! I am in Staplehurst, Kent. Is it possible some device external to my home is causing interference?

Roy: It is possible, but very unlikely.
The multiplex that is on C68 is also on C45 at your location (from the same transmitter) so you might be better doing a manual tune on C45, C42, C60, C39, C55 and C58.
