I have recently done a re scan following the sept 7th switch off.
I was looking at your list of Mux's and they do not agree with what I get when I scan. I get the following mux's: Mux A 482, Mux B 506 Mux C 530, Mux D 562, Mux 1 498, and Mux 2 570.
You list Mux 2 as 545. Am I reading this incorrectly? My Post code is ST5 area

Hi There
Was wondering if the digital signal from Fenton
will increase significantly after 21/09/11.
I'm currently receiving a weak ITV1 signal.

russ: So far only the multiplex containing the BBC SD channels is on its final channel and power level. The other multiplexes will change to their final channels, modes and power levels on 21 September.

The post-switchover power levels are 20x pre-switchover levels, but more to the point are calculated to give equivalent, or slightly better, coverage compared to analogue. (Exception: SDN is 10x Mux A's pre-switchover power - it used to carry a PSB channel, Channel 5, but this moved to Mux 2/D3&4 a couple of years ago.).

Alan Hewitt: It does say above "D3&4 at Fenton will move to ch33 (100W) in advance of switchover on 20th April 2011. The final frequency, C27, will be adopted at switchover."

Alan Hewitt: Sorry, there are a few transmitters with odd changes that don't fit into the standard template.

Hi Brian what I was referring to was the listing of Mux's just below the distribution map. Mux 2 is listed there as "a digital multiplex transmitted on frequency C30- (545.8MHz)"
I take that this graphic does not show the upto date information for the Fenton Transmitter? but reflect that of July 2010?

Alan Hewitt: It reflects the situation in 2007 before the switchover programme really got going. Brian has put an additional line in for transmitters that had major changes early on - Rowridge, where the line-up changed a lot, and Sheffield, where one mux had to move to squeeze in HD at Emley Moor - but mostly the pre-switchover changes, and any parking channels used after switchover, have not been listed.

Mike Dimmick/Alan Hewitt: I have to make manual changes to the code to make them display these little extra changes, and the problem is that the rest of the site is data-driven and doesn't see the bit of code that drives these pages, which then makes it inconsistent.
