Hi, I live in Southampton and my TV arial needs replacement as I only get MUX 1, B and D

It's a very old ariel and looks as though it has lost some elements and the backplate is droopy!

So what ariel should I replace it with? I've been looking at the one from ADSA shown below but it seems a bit overkill with 32 elements (it says suitable for medium areas too)

Max: You should be able to use a basic .

If you are going to spend a little extra money, you should spend it on using -grade .

A **group A* aerial - see Freeview reception - all about aerials | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice - would be best for . You will only find the "" type at Asda and other high street stores. These are OK, but a group A would be more suitable for Rowridge .

During this week commencing 14th February 2011 my home in Portchester PO16 9NF has had little or on all BBC stations on . If I leave the freeview box and TV on it will come back for a few secs and go off for hours.

I haved had no problems with signal until this week, please advise if this is a nown fault as it is every TV in my house that relies on Freeview and not TV.

Since Feb 9th have both & sound break up on 2 & 2A. TV is Panasonic TX-P37C2B with built in Freeview - less than 3 months old. All other have perfect . NO CHANGES TO TV fly leads or hardware. LIVE IN A FOUR FLAT DWELLING with communal ariel. 2 other flats also have identical problems with the same bad signal reception on Freeview MUX 2 & 2A. is constant 24/7. Next house along road (on own independent ariel) has no problems whatsoever. Any ideas or solutions much appreciated!

grahamgoingnuts: There is no " 2A". They are called 1, 2, A, B, C and D.

If you have a problem with a communal system, contact whoever it is who is responsible for your shared system.

This is normally the management company.

Brian, thanks for your response. One final point - Is it therefore possible to have perfect of some and on others (ie. 1 MUX)and for the receiving ariel to be faulty.

If you have no satellite signal, see Sky Digibox says 'No Signal' or 'Technical fault'

If you have other problems, please provide a full (not partial) postcode (or preferably enter it in box at the top right) and indicate where if aerial is on the roof, in the loft or elsewhere.
