grahamgoingnuts: It is probably not the aerial, if you have a shared system, it is probably a booster, amplifier or filter that is at fault.

hi i live in southampton so16 9jh and since the week-end the tv has been almost unwatchable i've retuned several times to no avail, used to get the odd time of no signal or weak signal but now it's ridicules.regarding the cranes in the docks, someone told me they put a booster on top of redbridge towers but i've been unable to confirm this.perhaps it's time to go down the freesat route

Seem to have lost all Multiplex 2 channels for the last two days. Just tried rescanning, and none of these channels were picked up. Can't see anything about Tx mntce so wonder what the problem might be. I live in SP5 3BF and have a Humax Digibox.

Peter: At that postcode, there are a couple of whacking great hills between you and the Rowridge transmitter. It isn't expected to work, now or ever.
You should get best results (both now and after switchover) from the Salisbury transmitter, for which you need a Group C/D aerial oriented vertically, with the rods pointing up-and-down. If your aerial is currently pointed at Rowridge, it is probably a Group A aerial oriented horizontally (rods going side-to-side).
