mr T .Carney: Have you checked for any loose or damaged cable or connections behind your TV? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see where you are in relation to the transmitter and your predicted signal strength etc.

I have been experiencing intermittent signal break up , from your leamington spa relay,
over the last 3 days.
I have a newish ariel system installed, which has worked perfectly to date.
Can you advise whether you currently have any technical problems at present,
before I go to the expense of getting an ariel company out?
Thank you,
Kind regards,
Alan Morrison

alan morrison: This website is completely independant and has nothing to do with operating any transmitter. There are no faults showing on the Leamington Spa transmitter page, although I do note that the Digital UK coverage checker predicts that you should be able to get a good signal from the main Sutton Coldfield transmitter at your postcode. Have you checked that you're tuned to the correct transmitter? You may well be picking up signal from another transmitter off the side of the aerial. Also, have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV?

I assume you are talking about the Freeview transmitter at Leamington Spa? This website does not run any transmitters at all.
As far as we can determine, there are no reported problems at that transmitter. So please check all your aerial cables and connections. Unplug any coaxial plugs/sockets and then refit, that will clear any unwanted corrosion/oxidation from the contacts. Then check that you are tuned to the correct transmitter signals by looking at the Digital UK Coverage Checker, selecting the Detailed output setting and scrolling down to the preferred transmitter. There will be a listing of all the multiplexes available from that transmitter with their channel numbers (these are not the programme numbers).

A partial post code is no help at all, we need a full post code to look up any information about your local transmitter and the expected reception at your location.

Sutton Coldfield
I have recently started to have problems receiving channel 44 (Five + 1). The problems are intermittent pixilation and some times a complete picture freeze. My post code is B73 6UE and I'm tuned to the Sutton Coldfield transmitter. Are you aware of any problems and can you tell me which multiplex channel 44 is on?
