Briantist yes I did have Freeview HD DVB-T2 reception equipment a HumaxHD-FOX T2, but have had to return it and get my money back.
I live due north of the transmitter is this not the problem?

D Holmes: Yes, you will be getting C34- multiplex 1 England West Midlands
w-nw 287° from the Fenton transmitter, which block the Freeview HD on the same channel.

I notice that i'm now getting a picture on ITV and Channel 4. Albeit breaking up constantly.
However, this is an improvement on the previous constant black screen 'No signal' sign.

Ryan: According to the Digital UK postcode checker you are not expected to receive Mux2 or MuxA and have poor reception on Mux1 and MuxB.This is because reception of these muxes from Sutton Coldfield is affected by the analogue signals from Emley Moor which use the same frequencies. After switchover you are expected to receive all six muxes with good reception from both Sutton Coldfield and Emley Moor, S/C having the stronger signal for each mux.

KMJ, Derby: As much as i'm not happy with the Freeview quality, I realise that technically, I shouldn't even be receiving Freeview due to it not being in my area as yet.
I'm just left bemused that back in the summer, the signal was really good. Nearly every channel was watchable and, at worst, i'd suffer minor break-ups in the picture.

Hi Briantist,
Thanks for the link but I'd already read and checked for possible sources of induction interference. I also read the article on frequecy specific interference. I also find it strange that it's only affecting channel 41, all other channels are good and strong. I really don't think it's induction or mobile interference.
Any other ideas
