Ian Drummond: Is the aerial on the roof?
Generally speaking you should have perfect Freeview reception both now and after switchover.
If you don't have perfect reception, as you suggest, this is not likely to improve at switchover.

Just watching five usa and lost signal. I only have BBC 1, 2, 3 and couple more channels. I'm starting to get very frustrated. I've been watching freeview for 4 years in this house and the quality of signal recently has really dropped and I don't understand why. It's happen over the last week, where channels just drop. What's wrong with the Waltham signal? Nothing's changed, the aerials still on the roof and connections haven't been touched. Please help.

The aerial is on the roof. The property is a bungalow and the aerial is elevated. Is there any other advice you can offer? Thank you.

Ian Drummond: I would suggest your have your equipment checked, as you should have perfect and stable Freeview reception.

Mux A & B are giving me the fun and games tonight!!! Ahhhhh. one minute it is fine and dandy, the next, off it goes into fairy land and in left here scratching my head with frustration!! :-/

Does that link also have 'how-to-kill-a-freeview-box-with-cricket-bat' at all?
One box works, and the other won't even register a picture! it believes that both Mux A&B are dead to the world, and the other is fine! Only problem is, the one that says a signal is there has a sound fault so im watching the footie on Sky Sports soundless... Don't you just love technology!
