I'm in Manchester and all disappeared just after 7pm. Then again after 8pm.

Had to retune twice.

Now unable to record anything as it says the isn't strong enough.

HELP!

Hello, I live in , my post code is bb3 1qj.
I am only able to pick up the Darwen from where I am, all the people on my street use only this transmitter as well.
I have been talking to some of the neighbours and they say that they've been told it's impossible to pick up winter hills transmitter, yet I lived only half a mile up road (bit higher uphill) and I could pick it up no problems.
Would this be true that I can't pick it up, or is there something that could be done to change transmitter's? We only seen to be getting a fraction of the available, and it's starting to annoy me that I can't view them all.

Frank: The UK now has a two-tier television . The Commercial broadcasters stick to the most lucrative transmitters:

It's very doubtful you will be able to receive from . As far as from that goes, in your area, because you are behind a hill, whether it can or can't be picked up might vary over a short distance.

If Winter Hill isn't an option then there are no others with regards getting the full complement of .

may be your best bet to expand you choice of viewing.

I've got already up which is using multi room downstairs in front room and backroom, think I may need to contact sky for a new dish as I don't think there will be anymore slots available to connect more wires to,

Frank: If you have a quad-LNB then you can get them with more ports on; search the internet. Swapping the LNB shouldn't require realignment of the (providing that it isn't loose).

As far as the dish goes, and are 100% the same, so Sky in one or more rooms and Freesat in one or more others will work.

You may be able to get a cheap Freesat box. A quick search of the internet suggests that they start at around £35.

This assumes that there isn't a clause in your Sky contract which forbids this, or perhaps voids a warranty. I'm not familiar with these things, so maybe best to check.

My TV has said a few times this week and then came back on by its own accord. It has just this second gone off and has stayed off for the last 10 minutes with no sign of it coming back on. It just says no signal. I am off work with broken foot however i am a cctv systems engineer so do have pretty good technical understanding.

Is this due to works being done on ? Or should i be checking closer to home?

I have a BT Vision + box. I live WA1 area, I am having problems with programming ITV3 etc , over past two week. I have checked ,All other between 30 and 100% signal. New LG LED TV connected direct to aerial bypassing BT Box, still same problem. Can you advise.

If you have no satellite signal, see Sky Digibox says 'No Signal' or 'Technical fault'

If you have other problems, please provide a full (not partial) postcode (or preferably enter it in box at the top right) and indicate where if aerial is on the roof, in the loft or elsewhere.
