Dan: You are predicted excellent reception from Reigate, if you have have it you should ask whoever it was that provided it for you to make it work properly.
It is also possible you have "overdone it" - see Freeview signals: too much of a good thing is bad for you | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

Reigate Transmitter - I cannot receive BBC1 or 2 on digital freeview from last night. Have re-scanned and both channels are now missing from the programme list. I have a Sony Bravia TV and a digital aerial which has been working ok until last night. Any ideas?

Reigate Transmitter - no signal on BBC1,2,3 and BBC News. This has been happening on and off for about 3 weeks. The reception on all the other digital channels is fine (ITV etc). The EPG lists all the channels and none of the equipment has been changed, digital aerial, TV etc. Any ideas anyone?

Thank you for your advice (Briantist 03/11/11). I thought that I would give it a try this morning (switching off appliances). But first I checked the BBC channels on Digital Freeview and what do you know, they are all back and working as they were before. So is it a transmitter problem or what else?

John Mclaughlin: There was, as it says about, a fault from 07:16 on 03 Nov to 13:20 on 03 Nov.

Reigate mast again. None of the programs on channel 66 will tune in now. Having had several months without problems on this mux I've now had no reception for about 10 days. Stopped re dining on both my systems at the same time so I suspect someone's been fiddling at the xmitter end?
Feedback please.
