Ed: Yes, enter any postcode that is situated in the Waltham coverage area into the Digital UK "tradeview" postcode checker, (or for a short cut, click on I's DigitalUK tradeview box above), scroll to the table for Waltham then hover over 31 in the COM7 column. This should reveal the technical details for COM7. When a date for the service to commence is known it will appear alongside the "retune" line in the table.

Ed: I should have said that the shortcut refers to the link from "ian from notts" post on 6th March 2014.

KMJ, thank you. Very useful info over there on Digital UK trade view too . I take it the ERP figures on here are from the Ofcom database and not correct.

PS All that data to the right of my last message is meaningless. I put someone else postcode in to help with their reception, and its tagged it to me!

I've just noticed that the COM7 (Ch31) and COM8 (Ch37) muxes are transmitting signals.
Sadly, at the time of writing neither are transmitting any content...

Digitaluk gives a date of 25th March for retune, so likely engineering works preparing for at least com7 to be on air then.

Yes, that's the BBC FOUR HD/ Cbeebies mux.
There are also two Freeview channels, 75 (POP) and 64 (BONANZABONANZA) on C26, 514 MHz, LNG, but at present my 2012 model Panasonic TV won't tune them. qpsk modulation. Panasonic website says 'compatibility with future services is not guaranteed'.

I live in Leicester city centre in new build flats. LE3 5 BD . We have a Sony Bravia tv with inbuilt freeview.
For past week some digital channels have been breaking up. E.g sky news
Last night bbc channels were also braking up
I have done full retune as advise. But problem persists. Is this because of engineering works and if it is when can I expect it to end?
